Animal Shelter of Kalampaka
The object of our Association is to provide care,accomodation,fostering and veterinary services within the area of Kalampaka,Greece,for animals that are in neeed of care and protection by reason of sickness,maltreatment and abandonment,and to educate the public in the care and welfare of animals.
Batman
Batman was hit by a car outside the 2nd Primary School of Kalambaka on 10/2/2014 and the driver left him helpless.
We took him for x-rays which showed that he needed to be operated so he could walk in about a week.
Because of the high cost,we couldn't do the operation but the veterinarian assured us that he will be able to walk in 1-2 months
Now he can walk but he can't step one of his paws very well because of an older injury.He is vaccinated,wormed,microchipped and he is negative to a recent leishmania test
